Help! Bleeding after hysteroscopy polypectomy

I have had the above procedure on Wednesday. I had general anaesthetic.
I was on the 3rd day of my period when I had procedure.
Since I have had light bleeding and today just a pinkish discharge.

I've just woken up to a pad full of blood and like a heavy period.

Im not quite sure what to do... is this the '4th' day of my normal period or is something wrong?

I've googled till my eyes are crossed & it says to call dr if I have 'heavy bleeding' or need to 'change pad frequently'.

I live on my own with four children it's 3.30 am and tbh I'm a bit scared. :(

Call 111 for reassurance and advice and keep a record of how much you are bleeding. Flowers

Btw I have had this op and didn't have the bleeding you have now, but I have had a cervical lletz to get rid of some dodgy cells after which I bled very heavily and had an infection so just needed some antibiotics. Please do call though!

I had the procedure on NHS at a private hospital. I have number to call & I called and got automated service to be put through to switch board. I was too nervous and hung up.
I've rung 111 they say to monitor the bleeding & call dr in morning. If I feel faint to get back in touch.
Thank you for advice xx

How are you today tink? Don't worry - just call the hospital! I had mine at a private hospital and the benefit of that is the aftercare so do take advantage of it!

Hi averagewife
My consultant got me in at the end of his outpatients yesterday. He had a look Confused and he agreed it was heavy but all was ok.

Thank you for replying late that night. Flowers
I'd got myself into a bit of a state xx
