Firstly, I have endo and hypothyroidism. I'm on the combined pill, supposedly tricycling it. When period start I'm supposed to have a 4 day break, 3 weeks ago it appeared I had a 4 day break, it was ridiculously heavy and as painful as pre pill (very) it lasted until this Monday/Tuesday. Today, it has reappeared - even heavier and just as painful. I've alteady menstruated for 18 days in the last 3 weeks. Help?x t.i.a

Who prescribed these pills?.

Its clearly not working and you should be seeing a gynae as a matter of urgency. You could easily become anaemic as a result of this heaviness of flow.

Thanks. The GP prescribed because of period pain. Also prescribed mefenamic acid. Will have to go to GP when I get back off holiday x
