What do you do when your baby is ill, won't stop crying and has been sick twice?

Apart from check temp, give calpol etc.
Do you cuddle to sleep and then lower into cot?
Take them into bed with you?
Pick up, put down.
Cry until they go to sleep?

Having a bit of a row with dh

You need to do what you feel is best for your little one.
You will probably get 100 different answers on here because we all will do whatever tells us is the right thing for us.
Personally, i prefer to be where i can see and hear my chap.
I lay him in his cot as usual as always felt that cuddleling made him even hotter. However if he was very upset then calpol for any possible tummy pain, and high temp, then cuddle to sooth, then down to sleep as usual.

I used to sleep on the z bed at the side of his cot so that i could keep a close eye and ear.....was wrecked by morning but felt better for it.

Its very difficuly, i feel for you, but it soon passes and if it doesnt then trundle off to the Docs.

As long as his temp isn't mad high and he's just feeling poorly I'd have him on me all night. When the dds have been like that we've kept them downstairs with us and cuddled them asleep as it seems to comfort them and they get some sleep; at out bedtime I've had them in with me and dh sleeps in spare room, esp when they've been sick. I keep towels on the bed, put pillows behind the baby so she can't fall out and then when they're going to be sick again, they usually wake up and cry and try to sit up so I've been able to 'catch' it all and settle them again. It's usually only for 1 night. Just make sure they're cool enough.

lay a towel down on the bed (saves a full sheet change if they are sick again), have a muslin to hand (again for sick), a cup/bottle of water nearby for the baby to sip, and get in bed with them for the night, (without dh, no point in both of us being knackered in the morning from a broken nights sleep)

we are lucky enough to have a spare room which is also nick named the sick room , and dd has bunk beds with a double on the bottom so we have plenty of bed space to do this.

I put mine on the bed until he is asleep and then put him in his cot. He tens to get too hot if i hold him. The monitor is on so I can listen out for him. I have his beaker of water by the bed as well in case he wakes up crying.
