Gastritis? "Menu ideas"

Hi,
I've just recovered from my second bout of gastritis! It's come on suddenly, possibly in part due to stress / a sudden habit of drinking about 3l of fizzy water a day and binge eating absolute rubbish in response to stress. Can anyone give me some lunch / tea ideas to get me through these next weeks to help ease the inflammation? It's given me a bit of a wake up call but old habits die hard so it will be tricky so thought If I could meal plan that may help. Thank you.

Herbal teas are soothing for gastrointestinal complaints. Try ginger or peppermint or camomile - or all three! Hope you feel better soon.

I've heard conflicting reports re peppermint and acid reflux .

Peppermint may increase your chances of heartburn because it relaxes the sphincter muscle that lay between the stomach and esophagus. This allows stomach acids to flow back into the esophagus

So if that's a factor in the gastritis maybe be careful ?

I too would love help with quick and simple meal planning for easily inflamed digestive systems .

So far I'm surviving on chicken in various forms! Chicken and apple sauce sandwiches and chicken salad with apple sauce being my go-to's once I've made everybody else's!
