Bite seems to be getting bigger by the day. Any advice on how to bring it down? Tia

Antisan bite and sting cream and antihistamine tablets like Piriton (providing it's not on a young child) should work. You can also apply a cold compress and cold calamine lotion (keep in fridge) to help with itching.
My brother in law ended up at the nearby walk in centre after 2 horse fly bites he got on his calf 'grew' and turned dark red.

Plantain...grows like a weed in garden. Make a poiltice and change a couple of times a day. Neat lavender oil also.

I would get this checked out by a medical person particularly as it seems to be getting bigger in your view.

Is the surrounding area hot to the touch? It might be infected. Anti-histamines and if it doesn't improve, or if the red area grows, then see a doctor.

I find that the back of a hot spoon (dip it into hot water and then shake dry) pressed against the bite helps with the itch, but that might only work for mosquito bites.
