Trampolines for exercise, are we fighting a losing battle?

My sister and I have decided to use her kids 13ft trampoline for an hour a day as exercise, anyone know if this is effective, does it help tone, burn calories or both etc.

We must look an eye sore bouncing around for the neighbours to see, but its a bloody good laugh

Trampolining is an excellent way to burn calories as well as tone. Gillian McKeith swears by them as a great way to increase fitness. I'd wear a sports bra though!
I used to trampoline a lot at school but when I tried it recently, I realised that my bladder wasn't the same after the kids!!! I had to jump off pretty quickly.

You will never keep it up.
Best to do a variety of different things 2/3 times a week.

I do a trampette aerobics class once a week but no way could do it for an hour a day.

Realistic goals.

That's the key.

lol
We are all ordered to go for a wee before starting by instructor.
Even so,during particularly vigorous parts, there is often a shriek and someone disembarks form trampette and scuttles to the loo, knees clamped tightly and purple faced.

It is great fun. But agree with the bladder problems! i am fine with oughing/sneezing etc but a few jumps on the trampoline and . i would be too embaressed to buy tena pads. Wad of kitchen roll works well.
