Faint after cortisone injection

Had a cortisone injection in my foot, painful but not as bad as I felt immediately after, very hot and faint. I had some water and felt bit better within 10 mins. I now feel bit shaky and headachy. Never had issues with normal injections, so why with cortisone? Injection site is fine but the rest of me Sad anyone experienced this?

Thanks so much for your reply. I feel e exactly like that. Don't mind injections in the least but I hated it.

I had one in my ankle on Monday, really painful & felt very faint & had to be tipped up so my head was lower than rest of me. I needed to squeeze the life out of my DH hand. Definitely rest & take it easy, hopefully you feeling better now.

I feel for you craving. Yes, I'm better now although I had a lingering headache the day afterwards. It's definitely improved my foot though. Take care

I cried after my first one, due to the pain, and they gave me a lollipop. I was 35.
