About 10 days ago I suddenly felt a very sharp pain in my left leg, above the knee, lower thigh area, outside of the leg (I feel I may need a diagram at some point), the pain was agonising and had I not been holding onto something I would have hit the floor, it lasted maybe 30 seconds and that was it gone, since then it has happened about 4 or 5 times a day, no reason for it apart from it only happens when I stand or sit still, it never seems to happen when I am moving. Afterwards I am fine, no pain apart from the outer part of my left foot feels a bit achy and pins & needely. I have had charlie horse in the past and the pain equates to that but doesn't last as long. I am currently being seen by a physio for a right hand side tendonopathy and am due to see them again in a couple of days. My OH is panicking and wants me to go to flipping A&E (which it really doesn't warrant). Any ideas?
