Periods or lack of

My daughter is now a year old and I havent had a period yet. Should I be worried? I only stopped breastfeeding in January and I am still taking a contraceptive pill that I took whilst breats feeding that doesnt reuire a break. Could this have something to do with why my periods havent returned? I really want a second baby and I am worried that my lack of periods might prevent this. Any advice appreciated?

Whilst I was on the minipill my periods didn't come back.

If you stop taking the pill your periods will come back I am sure.

I did wonder if that was what I should do. I might give that a try. Thanks
