Have had tests for epilepsy - no evidence - but as a kind of throw away remark the neurologist mentioned that there was diffuse dysfunction. He was very unconcerned about this ,so I know I shouldn't be worried .
He said something about lack of oxygen/hardening of arteries ( ? I think ) and I asked him if my heart tests were ok and he then went on to talk about them - they are .
Seeing it in writing in the copy letter to my GP does make me wish for a fuller explanation .
I know if it were something to be worried about I'd be told. Wouldn't I ?
Perhaps it's felt that as I'm late 60's it's normal ? Slow progression into dementia ?
I've made a GP appt but it's weeks away and I have no confidence really that I'll come away better informed .
Anyone familar with the term who can reassure me ?
