Should I wait for the ABX to work or OOH?

Friday night started feeling terrible. Headache, fever on and off, chills, nausea, dizziness, and feeling like I was going to pass out. I was pretty sure it was an infection caused by debris getting into a pocket under my gum (dodgy wisdom tooth growth). Dentist confirmed this today and prescribed AMoxicillin.
I'm due to leave the country for a week on weds and I honestly can't remember ever feeling this poorly. Should I just ride it out and give the ABX a chance to work?

Ah so you started the ABs today, not Friday. Can you make a gp app for tomorrow or wed (depending what time you leave) and hope that you are well enough to cancel it?

Please go back and get seen. How is your temp? Not to scare you but I had similar which turned into sepsis and became very unwell very quickly. Tooth pain is horrendous
