Post surgery wounds

I had keyhole surgery for cysts on ovaries a couple of days ago and the one thing that I had counted on was that they don't cover the wounds with anything but glue these days.

I'm desperate to have a shower now I'm feeling steady on my feet again but paranoid that the glue is going to lift in the water.

Please someone tell me I'm being silly and it'll be fine. Last time I had surgery was a csection and they covered it with a massive sealed plaster for the first 10 days.
