Name changed for this as I'm including lots of details. Sorry for all the details but didn't want to drip feed. I've just turned 40...
I've been struggling health wise for several months. Nothing's been quite right since DC2 was born 20 months ago. I've had 2 EMCS in the last 4 years and had PGP from early pregnancy last time. About 6 months ago the GP did a load of blood tests for everything from diabetes to MS. She ruled everything out including thyroid issues. I've had a mirena coil for almost 18 months but the first 6 months were hell, with mood swings and bleeding to the point of anemia.
The last 3 month or so I've been having pelvic pain and lower back pain. Needing to wee all the time and feeling nauseous. On the occasions I've had sex I've had cramps and pain afterwards. I often feel like my chest is tight too. I often seem bloated and my bowel movements are not good, but I am overweight and have a dairy intolerance so it might just be that. The gp checked the coil and for a uti. She took a swab in case there was an vaginal infection too. All negative. I have been referred for an ultrasound but still waiting for that appointment.
Now to today, last night we DTD for the first time in several weeks and I had cramps for several hours afterwards. This now seems to have become localised to an area on the right hand side of my tummy about half way up. It's almost into my back? It's sore when I'm resting but really sharp if I bend over. I've had paracetamol and a hot water bottle but it seems to be getting worse not better. Dr google is scaring me with everything from a stomach ulcer to ovarian cancer. But I was hoping you lot might have experience of something similar and some nice outcomes.
Also I am supposed to be taking the kids away this afternoon and am now nervous about driving long distance in case this gets worse/ doesn't improve?
