Numb/tingley toes ??

For a couple of years now, my middle toes on my right foot haven't been as sensitive as the rest, and throbbed when in warm water ( as if I'd put just those 3 toes in boiling water). Now my little toe on my left foot feels numb?!

Has anybody had this, or have any ideas what it could be?

TIA

I had this a couple of years ago and terrified myself with all sorts of neurological possibilities. Turned out to be an issue with my gait, so I saw a podiatrist and got some customised orthotics. Now I'm walking with less pressure on the balls of my feet, the numbness has receded. It resurfaces sometimes when I wear sandals without the insoles, so I make sure to wear them as much as possible.

Something I was investigated for which can also cause numb toes is Morton's neuroma. I had MRI scans of both feet to rule this out. Good luck!
