Long term steroid inhaler use - crap skin

I've been on inhaled steroid for over 15 years while using Sybicort for at least 6 of those years and although in my forties, I can't help think my skin is looking exectionally thin and crabby.
I also bruise (almost bleeding into the skin type bruise) and scar far to easily and frequently - am I just getting older or could this be side effects of long term inhaled steroid use?

That's interesting, have used inhaler since I was a little child, now in late twenties and have skin that just doesn't glow, if that makes sense. It's just a bit listless. And I also scar very easily.

I guess it could just as easily be a result of the conditions that necessitate the inhalers, as the inhalers themselves. Interesting though.

I have eczema, so my skin is rubbish anyway, but is reasonably thick and healthy where it isn't irritated. I bruise easily, but so did my mum.

Would be dead pretty fast without the steroid inhalers in summer time though, or when I have a cold, or... To be honest, without steroids I would not have made it past the age of two, yet here I am with children myself! Amazing things!
