Worried about possible DVT!

Hello!

I'm probably being massively anxious and ridiculous here but I could do with some reassurance.

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I've had a pain in the arch of my foot (underneath) for about 5 days now, it almost feels bruised and the pain runs up to the inside of my ankle just before the knobbly bit of ankle bone. It almost feels like the pain you get after bad foot cramp. Its not swollen or red or bruised in any way but it aches like a bruise and its especially sore when I first get up in the morning and walk on it.

I was googling (blush) last night and started reading about deep vein thrombosis in pregnancy. Now I'm really scared that it could be that.

I have a desk job - I'm a receptionist - so I am often sitting for 8 hours a day apart from when I get up to file things. I'm not an active person and I kinda hate excercise so I don't think its a sprain or pulled ligament or anything like that, plus I can't remember actually injuring it.

I have an appointment with my midwife on Friday so was going to mention it then if it hadn't gone, but should I treating it as more urgent?

Again - realise I'm probably being a total drama queen here.

Plantar fasciitis
DVT originates in the deep veins of your leg

@7to25

Thank you. I've read that DVT can begin with foot pain.

How would PF have occurred without injury, just randomly?

Yes, or swelling in your feet, increasing weight could have set it off.
Sorry, been out all day.
