No idea if the two things are related, but I had a laparoscopy 3 weeks ago. A couple of days after the operation I got a mild headache - left temple near my eye. The headache lasted 5 days and paracetamol / ibuprofen didn't help. I assumed it was the anaesthetic so wasn't too worried.
The headache disappeared for 2 weeks and has now come back. I'm on day 3 and it doesn't seem to be shifting at all, again painkillers don't work.
I generally don't get that many headaches, and never ones that last as long as this. Should I be concerned?
