So the other day my mil partner was in a car accident. Wasn't serious but he was shunted from behind. Anyway four days later his neck and shoulder was incredibly painful so he went to a and e who did an X-ray and ct scan and diagnosed muscle damage, however, they said the ct scan had shown up an abnormality in his throat and told him to make app with go in morning to get a referral to ent. So now obviously they're both very worried. The consultant asked if he'd had any problems with his throats and he said no, he was a smoker years ago but quit about 15 years ago. The consultant couldn't give him any idea what it was but said to get referred to ent asap. Any ideas? They're going out their mind thinking it's throats cancer. He's 56
