Hi all
For the last 8 weeks I have had ear pain in one ear that has flared up intermittently. After three weeks I went to the doctor and she said it looked like otitis externa and could see a swelling in the ear canal so gave me some antibiotics and drops. Neither worked and it's now worse then ever. I went back yesterday and she gave me a stronger dose of antibiotics and said the swelling was still there. This morning after 24 hours of antibiotics it feels worse then ever. If the swelling was a abscess wouldn't it have burst by now?? Anyone had similar??? That side of my face also looks a little swollen. Thank you
