Sleep Apnea - CPAP Advice?

Hi. I've been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea - during my sleep study I stopped breathing 120 times per hour apparently, with the longest stoppage being over 80 seconds Shock.

Despite this I had no real symptoms i.e. excessive tiredness etc. It was diagnosed following routine checks for something else.

Anyway, I got given a CPAP machine last week - state of the art technology and all that, but since I've been using it I have been SUPER tired every day. I was wondering, is this normal for the first week or two? Has anyone had a similar experience? The pressure etc all feels good and I haven't been having difficulty with the mask or waking up in the night.

Hope someone is out there!

Normal as you adjust to actually sleeping at night! Should get better soon and most people find they have a lot more energy long term!
