Hi I'm roughly 4 weeks pregnant as of right now and I think I'm getting the start of an ulcer. I have had an ulcer before which made me anaemic and it wasn't pleasant. The symptoms began a few weeks ago (before I even knew I was pregnant) when I was prescribed Etoricoxib for my shoulder when I dislocated it. I went back to a doctor who isn't my gp since he was on holiday and told him it was giving me indigestion and heartburn and wasn't helping so he gave me Naproxen and told me to keep taking my Omeprazole. Naproxen isn't working and it's making my stomach burn. I'm on quite a lot of other medication for fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, SVT and POTS, which is why I take Omeprazole to protect my tummy. Should I go back to the doctors and tell them this? I know that's a silly question but the only doctor who seems to listen to me is my gp and the doctor I got for the last 2 times doesn't seem to care, he just told me to take Omeprazole, which I've been doing for the past few weeks but it's not helping much and he keeps giving me antiinflammatories even though I told him they don't work and they burn my stomach. Any advice? xx
