labyrinthitis anyone else?

Feeling pretty fed up I've had labyrinthitis for 3 weeks now been prescribed betahistine which I'm taking three times a day and also been given paramax tablets for headaches and nausea. I have days when I feel really much better then the dizziness sets in again and I feel back to square one. I had panic attacks and severe anxiety for the first couple of weeks along with the dizziness but thankfully that seems to have calmed down but still feel a little bit anxious. My legs feel tired with it and one of them is really aching. Can anyone give me any tips if there's anything I can do to speed up my recovery. I feel I'm living in a bizarre reality at the moment I just want to get back to normal. Any advice much appreciated.

I'm sorry, I had it recently due to an ear infection.
It's awful Flowers
I don't think there's anything else you can do.
It just went away in its own time, about 3.5 weeks.

No advice I'm afraid but you do have my sympathy!

I first had it about a year ago, took about 5 weeks to properly go (of course in that period I did break my ankle in 3 places when I slipped during a dizzy spell...) but I appear to be experiencing a bit of a relapse at the moment. It's miserable.

Thanks Hairy and Dame it really does get you down doesn't it .Just feeling a bit fed up with it all and wondering whether I'll ever feel normal again. Hope it isn't a relapse for you Dame. Take care.
