My 10 year old had ibuprofen an hour ago, how long do I need to wait before she can have paracetamol? Thanks.

she can have paracetamol now.

but do check carefully the max dose of both ibu and para.

She can have paracetamol at the same time as ibuprofen as they're different types of medicine

Dreams, no children under 16 can't have them at the same time

Yes they can have them at the same time if necessary whatever their age. I learned this when my son was a toddler ill in hospital with a very high fever. It was the only way they could get it down.

However if a young child I would still seek GP advice the next day and space the Ibuprofen every 6 hours if taking together. Basically if one hasn't worked then add the other a couple of hours later.

Cheese my son has been given them at the same time in a and e when getting a minor wound glued (and he wasn't even in pain at the time!). Was 10 at the time
