Lump

What do cancer lumps feel like? I've got one on my left rib (so not on boob) that I'm getting an ultrasound on, on Friday. It's quite soft, not hard. A bit squishy. Trying not to google and am trying to reassure myself that the GP had referred me for a "routine" not urgent scan... but I can't help but worry. Hoping it's just a cyst or fatty lump...

My lump felt like a dried out pea under the skin.

Remember, most lumps aren't sinister, and if it is sinister, then the cure rate is pretty good.. I'm still standing (well sitting) five yesrs on!

Yours sounds like a lipoma. Good luck for Friday

Had my scan this morning, apparently it's my spleen which can apparently move post-pregnancy. Who knew? Just grateful it's nothing sinister.
