Anxiety Forever?

I have had anxiety since I was at primary school. It has blighted my life. Fast forward to now (age 45). Everything I do or think about is plagued by anxiety, from doing the weekly shop to getting on a plane. For me it is more about overthinking worst case scenarios.
For example, once I'm actually sat on the plane I start to calm down a bit, it's the bit before that I can't cope with, the booking a holiday, worrying about being ill, the thought of the journey to the airport (train delays, strikes), finding the right gate etc.....
We are going to the Harry Potter studio tour on Saturday and I am worrying about getting there on time, what if one of us is ill, what if the weather is too hot.....and so it goes on endlessly.. :(
HELP.....
