Hay fever advice needed

DH suffers from hay fever...he takes an antihistamine tablets everyday for about six weeks, sneezes a bit, but such is life.

DD also suffers from hay fever. It started when she was 7, she's now 11 and is really suffering; antihistamines don't seem to do anything . She's having a bath or shower every day when she comes home from school, but is there anything preventative, or anything else we can try?

have you been to the GP? Some hayfever medications have to be prescribed - the over the counter pills don't work for everyone
