Call back after breast clinic examination

Received the dreaded letter asking me to go back following breast screening - due to technical error resulting in images not being high enough quality. I am worrying myself stupid rather than just taking it at face value.

I'm being daft, aren't I? If they'd found something sinister I wouldn't be going back for another screening exam, would I? I'd be off to the hospital for further investigation.

Boobs are somewhat large, so I can understand that there may have been some issues with images. I have self examined and can't feel any lumps and there are no other obvious problems.

I am being ridiculous.

I totally understand your worry, but there are a lot of recalls for poor image. Was it at a mobile clinic and was it your first one?

I had exactly the same letter last week, went back on Friday (mobile unit). And was just because one of the images was blurred

I had exactly the same, recalled after my first breast examination. I got in a lather thinking it was something awful. I phoned for further information and they said they couldn't discuss over the phone. A week later I went back and it was just because the first pics were unclear. Don't worry (easier said than done!)
