Any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what's wrong with me?!
I've been having dizzy spells daily, sometimes fainting. I struggle to understand what people are saying to me and also really struggle to respond, I can't really sort out my thoughts and also slur my words. I start shaking, I can walk a bit but if I stand up I usually faint after a while. My heart beats really hard to the point where if I'm wearing a necklace it makes a noise and I get sharp chest pains but they're not really painful (maybe a 5/10 pain).
I have been having symptoms for about two years and I have a seven month old DD. My symptoms got a lot worse during pregnancy and the last few months I've been having these spells daily to twice daily?
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?!? I'm really struggling.

I should add that the hospital are looking at my heart, just wondering if anyone else had similar symptoms or ideas what this could be ?
The doctors say I have extra heart beats but it doesn't sound like this really explains my symptoms !

I had similar issues when my iron/ferritin were rock bottom.

did you have any bloodwork done recently?

stayathomegardener · 11/06/2017 17:23

Has you GP not organised a heart monitor for you to wear for a week?
Usual bloods inc iron and thyroid.
Check your bp both sitting and then standing. You can have this checked for free at some chemists just google.
No medical knowledge but I would at least start there.

I've had blood work and my doctor put me on iron just to try in the meantime. It didn't really help. I also had the heart monitor for just 24hrs but I was pregnant at the time so they said they'd have to review after that because sometimes pregnancy causes extra beats but I still have them Sad
My blood tests are always fine too. But thank you both! Honestly I wonder if it may just be something simple like not drinking enough water !! I've had one of those ultrasounds on my heart and a heart monitor and I'm having another monitor, and exercise test and an MRI on my heart soon. Just worried its not my heart honestly. The symptoms don't really match?

Had the very same thing and it turned out to be a b12 deficiency definetly get that checked x

Neverknowing · 11/06/2017 17:58

Thank you @littlebunnyhophophop I don't think I've been tested for that! Did you ever have problems breathing?

My blood tests are always fine too.

there is a significant difference between 'fine' or 'within range' and optimal.

when I had these issues, my ferritin was 'within range' but at the lower end. not every GP is good with it and often all is declared fine as long as one is within the ranges.

have you asked for a print of the blood results?

Neverknowing · 11/06/2017 19:12

No I didn't even think to!! Thank you @slowdive I'll ask that, I'm seeing my gp as soon as I can. It's been getting a lot worse, I've felt strange for the last few days it hadn't gone away 😓

I asked here when i had my results. I know, it is only the internet and a bunch of strangers but some in here gave me good pointers and were pretty knowledge. but getting a print out may be a start.

hope you feel better soon. I was dreadful. in my case the ferritin was low and it took 3-4 months of heavy supplementing to get the levels up and to really feel better.
