Last week my dentist (seem to see a new one each time) said from looking at the xray of my wisdom teeth that there was no way they could erupt and referred me to the hospital for a panoramic xray which confirmed they are impacted with no hope of erupting. He then referred me for removal as they are pushing my other teeth. I am frightened as they look like they are on the nerve and I keep hearing horror stories about this. However, I have been having horrible sensations in my jaw which may be caused by this anyway! I am over 40 now but these were only spotted in my mouth for the first time 3 years ago so I presume I am a late developer!
