Threadworms!

I discovered I had threadworms this week . Thanks children! DS 4 also has wigglies in his poo. No sign in DD 5 or DH but I treated us all with Ovex on Thursday, and washed all bedding, towels and clean pjs every night etc. However, 3 days later, and there are still live worms in DS's poo, and mine seems to have got worse, loads more live worms and the itchiness is driving me mad.

Should I give us all another dose already, or wait until the 2 week dose as planned?

Wait two weeks. The worms do take a few days to die unfortunately, in my experience. Belt and braces you could take another dose 2 weeks after the second dose as well.

Thanks toobee. Hope they go soon, I have diarrhoea and a very sore bottom too. DC seem oblivious thankfully.
