an inhaler for people with allergies??

ds2 went for his asthma review with the nurse the other day. when i explained that h only really hs use for an inhaler during his horrendous hayfever time

she said that there is an inhaler that is better suited for people with hayfever but she couldn't remember the name!

he is on salbutamol normally, so not that, does anyone know what it would be and how it is better??

Salbutamol treats the narrowing of the airways. I am guessing he is talking about a treatment which is targeted at the allergy component to prevent the naorrowing of the airways.

Could be beconase (which is more of a nasal spray) which is a steroid to treat the hay fever.

Could be a steroid asthma preventer medication.

Could be a whole range of things really...
