At the weekend my DD (18 years old)forehead and cheeks became red and hot to the touch and ishe felt hot inside her face too and she had a mild headache. Her period had just ended so we thought perhaps it was hormones and a mild migraine. She was better on Sunday night and Monday. She went to Uni for an hour on Tuesday (late afternoon) and it was a bit sunny - she is very fair skinned but wore a cap and SPF50. When she was there she felt a bit "weird" (dizzy) and that evening her face became hot again (she doesn't seem to have a fever) and it still is (she has a headache tonight) the redness and heat is constant.
I want her to go to the GP tomorrow morning try to get an emergency appointment but she is reluctant. She has Uni exams on Saturday.
She looks under the weather and miserable and has the electric fan on, using a lukewarm flannel on her cheeks but is eating normally.
I have considered she may have - some infection/bug, developed an extreme sensitivity to something she is using (moisturiser?). Dr Google suggests Roseacea, Seb dermatitis, high blood pressure and pregnancy. Any one have other ideas or experience of this?
