Constant need to wee

Don't know if anyone on here has had the same experience or could send me in the right direction to finding out (other than bothering my GP just yet).

Since Sunday I have had this constant urge to use the toilet, when I go barely anything comes out. I'm 23 (don't know if the age thing is relevant to this).

I might be nothing, but it's not normal for me to feel like this, I can go hours not going to the toilet.

Sounds like a urinary tract infection. Drink plenty of water to try and flush it out. You may need a course of antibiotics.

Two things spring to mind: cystitis and diabetes. Unless it's cleared up now, I would make a GP appointment for as soon as possible. Take a urine sample with you. You can probably collect a sample bottle free of charge from the GP reception in advance. Good luck.

Could be cystitis. Get it seen to as soon as you can. When I had it the pain became unbearable. It could be something else of course.

Sounds like cystitis and more than likely will need antibiotics! Don't worry if you can only manage a dribble, take it with you to the GP. Cystitis can go up to your kidneys so definitely needs checked

I agree with PP's - very likely cystitis. Drink a fuck ton of water and fresh cranberry juice if you can find it. You need to flush it out. Antibiotics aren't really necessary unless very very severe. But drink ALOT and try not to go to the toilet (even if you really feel the urge) till you know your bladder is full.

I've just Googled cystitis to see if there were any other symptoms I could relate to, and its not that it hurts when I wee but there is some kind of sensation so it could be that.

Plenty of water - noted! Hopefully I can flush it out without going to see my GP.
