Period or something else?

I'm 48. I've had the implant for the last 11 years. I have had no periods for years - literally can't remember the last time I had one and even then it was only a day and very light.

I have just gone to the toilet and found my knickers are stained pink/red. When I wiped it was very red - not what I would normally expect from a period.

Any thoughts on what this is or nothing to worry about?

You need to see your GP. Probably needs checking out.

I guess. I daren't google. It would probably tell me I have 20 minutes to live or something.

Just curious as to what people may think. MN is a hive of good info.
