hi, got back from morrocco a 8 days ago. we all got bitten to bits 10 days ago. dd2, who's 2.5 seemed to be the least affected -her spots were tiny red freckles, whilst dd1 and dh swelled up badly. anyway, 5 days after being bitten, the freckles turned into raised itchy spots. and 10 days on theyre still bad, and have gone solid. she 's had cold symptoms as well.

i now feel really stupid and wonder if my 'diagnosis' was wrong, and that she has a disease! am seeing the dr later.

have any of you had exp of bites reacting like this?

just wanted to report back to the dozens of you on this thread that she appears to have a skin infection, and may need antibiotics. at least we've put no one at risk.
