both my dds have temperatures of 38+ degrees this morning. gave calpol to both. dd1's temperature went right down so sent her off to school (at protest). dd2's temperature is much slower to go down and she also has a runny nose. she's now taking a nap.

should i keep her at home or go to a park so she can run around a little. she's getting quite bored... what do you think??

Personally I'd keep her in. Whenever mine have a high temp they flag very easily, even if the temp has come down. I would have kept them off school too .... perhaps I'm a soft touch

I would take them out for a very gentle outing - into the garden or for a very short walk round the block.

i couldnt bear having the 3 of them at home but asked teachers to keep an eye on her and i'm certain they'll give me a call if she gets worse.
