Oh no I feel for you aubergine Flowers

I would just use lots of bleach and antibacterial hand wash/gel. All your DD bedding/clothes/towels on the hottest wash possible - I usually add a capful of zoflora to the fabric softener drawer. Also put a drop of zoflora into a cup of boiling water in her bedroom this will help to deodorise the air a bit.

Best of luck - have some more Flowers

Was going to say can you get a relative to have your baby while you deal with DD?

It's difficult because baby will have their hands in their mouths so often and that's how the virus spreads. However, hand hygiene so washing them frequently. Try and quarantine poorly child if you can. Don't share towels. Use solution of bleach to clean after every vomiting episode. Wipe down any surfaces vomiting child has touched including door handles and light switches. Avoid touching your face or having your hands in your mouth.

Urgh, hate this! Had the same and little baby did get it but she was breast fed so it didn't seem to hit her hard, just projectiled twice and that was it. I got it too. It was a shitty shitty few days.

My advice, lay down towels, wash your hands every time you deal with any puke and feed baby if bf lots.

Wash everyone's hands (with soap and water and dry well) as much as you can and use bleach to clean any vomit. Sadly nothing else you can do.

For a bit of reassurance ds got swine flu and was VERY ill when Dd was a newborn. He gave it to everyone except Dd.

Thanks everyone everyone - vomiting seems to have settled and so far no effect on the baby touch wood...
