Enstilar for psoriasis.

Has anyone tried this? My scalp psoriasisis driving me nuts. I've tried betamethasone for scalp, etrovex shampoo and dovonex scalp solution and nothing is clearing it. I've also used cocois ointment.

Is Enstilar any different from dovobet gel which is cheaper for my gp I think? I need to sort something out.

It's less messy and easier to use. I did notice a slight improvement over other steroid creams, but unfortunately mine only cleared after going on medication (if I'm not on medication, I have coverage on whole body).

If your psoriasis is localised to the scalp, I would definitely give the enstilar a try.

Enstilar has the same active ingredients as dovobet, but there is an advantage as its a foam and it seems to work slightly better.
Capasal shampoo is reasonable to try too if you haven't already.
Did you leave the cocois on for 12h (overnight)?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/05/2017 21:43

At the moment it is just my scalp with mild plaques elsewhere.

Not tried capasal for a while, that's a thought. I did leave cocois on overnight, with a shower cap on. It smoothes it out but within days of stopping it all roughs up again.

Maybe I should try the cocois for a week or two then the enstilar with capasal for washing if my gp agrees. Gosh that will be complicated!
