Explosive diarrhoea and Ponstan

How bad is too bad? Accidentally took a double dose for period flooding and I've been crumpled over the loo for 24 hours. Haven't eaten anything since last night but still desperately rushing to the bog.

No blood in the diarrhea and no other OD symptoms - any ideas how long will this last?

I take ponstan regularly for period pain, how much have you taken? I think you're allowed 4 tablets in 24 hours?

Ring 111 as they should be able to advise you.

I've taken 4 x 500mg yesterday. Instead of 3 x 500mg. Nothing today.

111 just read out the internet. A&E near me call you in screaming then after a long journey you wait 5 hours and they send you home with no treatment. I'm too ill for both those. :)

I thought 4 x 500 was the standard maximum dose? So you haven't gone over?

Miles better today, thanks - still weak but managing. Grim trots for 3 days then a blinding headache, now fine. Thanks so much.
