Is it obvious when you have an endoscopy that you have a gluten intolerance. ? I am having all the symptoms but had an endoscopy last year and they didn't mention it .

No medical expertise, but I have had an endoscopy to look for this. They talked about seeing something called 'scalloping', which can be seen, and tends to indicate a gluten intolerance. They got quite excited that it was really clear, and called in a student to have a look! However, when the biopsy results came though, it said that despite this indication, i did NOT have the intolerance after all, so all a bit confusing!
Also, if they were looking specifically for something else when you had the endoscopy, they might not have considered it, or checked any samples for it? So I'd go ask your doctors, but quite possibly they wouldn't have checked for it.
