Worries about ? prolapse.

A couple of days ago I started to get quite bad discomfort when sitting down and struggling to pee. It feels like something pressing against one side of my vagina. I've also got back pain. My main worry was that I have had some sort of prolapse.
I know I have problems with my pelvic floor since the birth of my 3rd child ( big baby, episiotomy etc)
All the Gp did ( not y usual GP) was test my urine and diagnosed a urine infection and put me on antibiotics. To be honest I was expecting that he would do a pv examination given my concerns ( not that I wanted one !).
Should I just wait and see if the pain goes after the antibiotics or would I be unreasonable to get a second opinion?

wait then ask again.

Yes I would think wait for now. Especially if they have diagnosed an infection, they may not take you seriously until you have finished the course. Fingers crossed it solves your problems.
As for prolapse, they are very slow anyway on that regard. If it is not severe they don't tend to do much. I went and had an examination as was worried also but still came out disappointed as they just said lax walls and nothing would be done anyways unless real bad. G.P. did say I could come back for a review in 3mths but still felt let down really as could have done with a little more help without the clock watching.
I started a few self help measures and bought the www.kegel8.co.uk/kegel8-ultra.html?utm_source=msn&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=kegel8%20ultra%2020&utm_content=3837813345&utm_campaign=16478744278
It has helped my pelvic floor, so I am desperately trying to prevent things worsening.
