Post pregnancy Carpal tunnel?

I had carpal tunnel syndrome in my first pregnancy and for some months afterwards, then it disappeared. I also had it, not so badly, in my second pregnancy. Baby is 11 weeks old and I'm.really suffering with myeft hand. Often incredibly numb on waking up. Painful when feeding the baby on that side (with his head on my arm)

It's mildly painful all the time with worse bouts. Today I have noticed a lump)swelling in my wrist. Is this normal?

I'm not sure, I had carpal tunnel post pregnancy but no lumps. I think a visit to the GPb is in order, there is physio exercises you can get to help strengthen your wrist also and your GP may be able to direct you on that front.

Dont know about lump but i was having terrible numbness and pain in both hands with carpal tunnel and bought wrist splints that have a metal bar in palm to keep hand open when asleep and it has more or less cleared up. They are painless to wear and i bought mine online.
I am fine now as long as i wear them in bed and keep my hands warm in winter. If i forget to put them on i know about it straight away and suffer for it the next day..They really have been a godsend so might be worth a try.

I had Carpel Tunnel Syndrome during my 4th pregnancy. It didn't improve when ds was born.

I had surgery on both hands to relieve it, when he was 12 months old.
