My medical knowledge is so pathetic that i thought a cast was always used for broken bones...
if you think it'd work better for your ds, it's probably worth a try? your poor ds, he must be in such a pain

yes, try and give them a ring and explain your concerns. was your ds given some efficient pain relief as well?

franca70 · 13/03/2007 14:03

Is it the little finger that's broken?

I don't think the pain should drag on for more than a few days. still, it's horrible to see them in pain. ring them!
[did you get my email two weeks ago? I feel really bad, cause I should have rung you, but was overwhelmed by shyness!]

ok, my only experiece was to break my foot's little finger (I was 27...) and I'm sure it lasted for more than 5 days, although it wasn't very intense. I'd ring them and explain the situation. at least to have an idea of how long is expected the pain to last. probably it's not very common to put a cast for a little finger, but it's worth to try. (and this would need a very apprehensive italian mother emoticon).
don't worry, I knew about your dodgy connection . yes, it'd be lovely to meet up again!
