Bleeding 11 weeks after child birth

I wonder if anyone can please offer some advice, or support, or similar experiences. I gave birth 11 weeks ago to a beautiful baby boy (3rd child if that's relevant). The labour was relatively straightforward. My

Said it's probably an
infection, prescribed antibiotics and referred me for a scan. I'm convinced this is not an infection as there's no smell and I'm not feverish or feeling ill. The bleeding is sporadic but seems to have picked

Did your placenta come away in tact?

I had infection and a antibiotics cleared it up but I only had bleeding too no temp etc

Thank you for posting, sunshine. Yes, I think my placenta did come away intact. When was your infection diagnosed? Was bleeding your only symptom?

I got clotting and heavy bleeding after it had previously started to stop - probably 2-3 weeks after birth? No other symptoms except maybe tiredness but with new baby couldn't br sure if it was just that!

They did a blood test too and couldn't grow a culture but within 24 hours of taking antibiotics the clotting/bleeding had much improved abc stopped after a couple of days

Take iron tablets btw as you'll be low on it with all that bleeding!

Yes I think an infection would normally show itself 2-3 weeks after birth, rather than 11 weeks, as I am now. Good that yours cleared up so quickly.

I know I've probably a small polyp and a fibroid. Could these have been aggravated by labour, does anyone know? I just can't stop thinking about something more serious.

It really is bright red now so if anyone else can post, I'd be very grateful.
