Called to the doctors office after breast biopsy??

My dp aunt has had a biopsy done on a lump in her breast.
She has to go back to discuss results next week.

If results are clear do they just send a letter out? If you're called to come in and discuss them with a doctor is it generally bad news?

I have had various suspicious lumps and moles removed, and on each occasion I have been asked to go back in - to be thankfully told they were of no concern.

I have my fingers crossed it's good news. I've always been very lucky that it has been for me, wether that's my GPs way of doing things? I don't know! But I'll be thinking of her regardless
