bit yucky - blisters on bottom (nice) - any experience????????

Sorry to be so graphic at this time of day but my ds (23 months) has what looks like burst blisters on his bottom. Only around the hole area (yuk). It is defo not nappy rash). Have taken to docs and got some anti-fungal cream but it is now starting to really hurt him when filling nappy. Taking him back this week but wondered if anyone had come across it before???

I had huge blisters on my bum when both my sisters got chicken pox. Had no other symptoms at all but turns out they must have been chicken pox as I later got shingles when I was 18.

could well be then as that was the only symptom I showed but my mum thought was something else as they were bigger than chicken pox and very sore[i remember a couple bursting]
