my ds had the under twos pcv jab for phuemonia yesterday and tonight i notice that he has a bright red cirle around it, about the size of a small cookie which is very warm and hard. i did have the leaflet but i cant find it. does this sound normal? it doesnt hurt him because he didnt flinch or anything when i touched it.

Hard red lumps are a very common reaction to all of the vaccinations.

I think it is fine. Lots of children get a red circle like that after having jabs, including my DD. It should go away over the next few days.
