Hi. I am in two minds about what to do about my 9 week old baby's immunisations. She had her first set at 8 weeks on Feb 27th. On March 17th we are going to South Africa for a month, and her second set will be due half way thru our hols. Any advice on whether she should have her 3 month jabs at 2.5 months to 'top her up' ? GP says it's fine, NHS helpline says Dept of Health recommends a month in between each set. Any advice appreciated. I searched immunisations but got more than 500 hits and I'm tired ! Thanks.

Oh thank you. That's my gut feeling. To rather wait till we get back. It's not as if SA is the Congo. She is breastfeeding so I know she can probably cope, but it's deciding which is the lesser of two evils really. Thanks.
