15 Month old doing the splits. Good idea or not?

My 15 months old has just started doing the splits we have laminate floor and she has decided it's great fun to let herself go and seems to be getting lower each time.
Every time I see it It makes me cringe as I'm sure she's damaging something. she's giggling her head of though so it can't be too painful for her. so far I've just tried to distract her with something else as I've not wanted to tell her off as it's not naughty. Is it dangerous in babies?

Would you encourage or discourage?

Incidently I've never been able to do the splits in my life.

och, no nor have I lol. Im sure if she is that flexible and is giggling then she should be fine. I wouldnt think she could do herself harm, not that Id like to try it!!!!!

Why would she harm herself? Babies are naturally very flexible.

I knew they were bouncy but wasn't so sure about their flexibility
