My dd never had nappy rash and got her potty trained by the time she was two. But the last few weeks she has been quite sore around her bits( thats what we call them) i have bought bigger underwear but they don't seem to help so she eith wears trousers with no undies or shorts under dresses, it looks abit like excema but she says it itches..... Can she have thrush????? i wash her evey time she goes to the loo, i am really clean dr says it is a rash.....so helpful.

Any advice may not get back on this till tomorrow she is finding it difficult to sleep.

I'd take her back to the Drs if you're not happy. Our DD had this when she started completely taking herself to the loo at playschool - and basically didn't wipe herself very well. We used to put a bit of Canesten HC that was kicking around from DS that took the sting out of it and meant that she could sleep better. (Be careful if you use Sudocrem as this can be very painful if you get it directly on mucous membranes). Obviously encouraged her to wipe/dry herself better next time....Hope this may be of some help.
